Hello Reader, Have you ever had one of those weeks where everything feels too much?T hat’s been my world lately. First, my brother’s wife survived a terrible accident. Then my sister-in-law needed emergency brain surgery. My husband flew out to be with her, and just as I thought I could catch my breath, my back pain got so bad that by 6 p.m. every day, I have to lie flat and not move. It’s been a rough couple of weeks, physically, emotionally, spiritually... 🪞 What These Moments Teach Us I’m sharing this not to complain, but because moments like these test everything we say we’ve learned about balance and self-care. When life hurts, my old instinct used to be to numb out with food. To reach for something that soothed quickly, even if it didn’t really help. Practicing Gratitude (Even When It Feels Forced)

It was everything I was craving: connection, challenge, immersion, and the energy of a team. But my body… my body felt like it was screaming. Sleepless nights, racing thoughts, back and shoulder pain, constipation. My nervous system was running overtime. I...
Hello Reader, Sometimes life hits all at once: messy, overwhelming, unavoidable Last week, i snapped at my mom. She hanged up on me. And I was left sitting there, heart pounding and eyes burning, feeling everything at once. Moments like these used to send me straight to food, to quiet the pain inside. But that quick relief comes at a cost: guilt, shame, indigestion, heaviness… And that voice whispering: “I did it again.” The shift that changed everything The next day, while commuting from...
